Description

Virginia and Truckee Railroad.  Steam locomotive headlight from the engine #17, named the Columbus.  Columbus was a class 4-4-0 originally built by the Central Pacific Railroad in Sacramento, California.  This headlight was originally purchased from the estate of George Richardson in 1964, a notable collector of Virginia and Truckee Railroad memorabilia.  He was also involved at the museums in Carson City.

Headlight measures 34" tall, 21-1/2" wide, and 16-1/2" deep.

Due to the higher costs associated with shipping an item like this, this item is exempt from the buyers premium.
